April Writing Update

Greetings! I hope spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. We had a lovely stretch of warm weather and then everything got cold again. I enjoyed a wonderful couple of days sitting out on the back porch and writing and now I’m back inside looking at the sunshine and green leaves from behind glass.

The weather is driving my children crazy–they just want it to get warm and stay warm. I can relate. LOL.

Ah, well. If there’s one thing you can count on about spring, it’s the fact that it’s an unpredictable season. It’ll get warm (and stay warm) eventually.

Finder Series Update

I have some exciting news to share on the Finder series front. In January (after I sent out the January newsletter) I finished Blowback, the 5th book in the Finder series! Got it off to my beta reader, got it back, and I’m nearly finished with the final draft.

Very excited about this book. I had a ton of writing it, and the story took some twists and turns that surprised me. *grin*

Hoping to do another Kickstarter and release this book early, so stay tuned for more updates on that. I’m thinking July, at the moment, but we’ll see.

The Guardians Update

Still in the process of going through Books 1-4 and all my notes and putting the series story back in my head. I adore The Guardians series and its cast of characters and I am so excited about writing Book 5 and wrapping the series up.

Other Writing News

Outside of finishing the final draft of Blowback, I don’t have anything major to announce yet. I have several other projects in development, but nothing ready to talk about yet.

My brain works best when I have at least two projects going at the same time–if I get stuck on one project, I can jump to the other project while my creative voice works out the issue with the first one. At the moment, I’m just in the middle of all my projects. Which is good for me, from a writing perspective, but lacking in details for any kind of real update for y’all. Sorry about that. Just know that I’m hard at work. *grin*

Have a great week!
