Special Flash Goal!

If we hit 25 backers by the time this campaign ends at 7PM on Thursday, September 28th, I will write a special bonus epilogue for The Spy at the Embassy!

The Spy at the Embassy is completely finished, of course, but this idea has been floating around in my head the past few days, and I think it would be a fantastic bonus addition with plenty of romance.

Kickstarter Funded and Special Stretch Goal Announcement!

The Spy at the Embassy Special Edition Kickstarter campaign passed the funding threshold last night! I am beyond thrilled! So excited to be able to share this book with you!

As a special funding reward and another way of saying thank you to everyone who’s backed this campaign, we have a special addition. Everyone who backs at the $5 level and above will be included in a special Kickstarter section of The Spy at the Embassy Special Edition’s Acknowledgement page. 

Y’all are amazing and I greatly appreciate all of you.

What happens next? Help me spread the word so we can hit a couple of stretch goals and every backer will get even more fun stuff to read. *grin*

His erstwhile partners had explained it twice, but Clay Dawson still wasn’t entire sure what he was doing here at the Denquay Embassy tonight. He took a sip of chilled water from a fancy wine glass, gaze constantly assessing the ballroom, and let the buzz of conversation and the lovely strains of music wash over him.

In the grand scheme of things, attending the Denquayan Ambassador’s wife’s birthday party didn’t seem very important. It was a birthday party, for crying out loud. Surely Blackthorn Security had higher priorities to attend to.

Chapter 2

Officially, Reine was an attaché, which in her case meant that she was nothing more than a glorified secretary and messenger girl. A slightly cushy job, bestowed out of a lingering sense of guilt on a girl whose parents had given their lives in the service of their country.

Unofficially, she’d been recruited four years earlier by the Intelligence Division of Denquay’s Department of Defense. They had used her job as a cover for many covert tasks, but tonight was a new wrinkle.
