‘A Tale of Star-Crossed Hearts’ Kickstarter launches Tomorrow!

Starting at 9AM EST, you’ll be able to get super early copies of A Tale of Star-Crossed Hearts, the prequel to The Other Side of the Horizon. I am so excited about this book!

A number of you have asked me over the years to write Raphael and Elena’s love story. It took me a decade to be able to get to it, but it’s finally here. I hope you thoroughly enjoy this novel!

Here’s the banner for the campaign, as well as AToSCH’s blurb. Enjoy!

A lemon meringue pie brings them together…resistance to change may tear them apart.

A textile merchant’s son, Raphael Franco Avarez boasts the reputation of charming every woman he meets. Until the day he meets a beautiful redheaded foreigner who not only seems impervious to him, but promptly vanishes. Fascinated, Raphael launches a city-wide search for her.

A professor’s daughter, Elena Mountebank enjoys traveling the world with her father and exploring new places and cultures. Settled temporarily in the city of Yves in Selendria, she spends her free time hunting down exotic ingredients to bake new delicacies. She never expected a handsome, too-charming stranger to waltz into her life like an errant breeze off the Wild Sea.

Raphael vows to overcome his reputation and win Elena’s heart, but a shadow threatens to mar their impending happiness. Amid the shadows of his past and rising tension about the new machinery sweeping the continent, Raphael and Elena must determine where their course truly lies—and how much they dare risk for love.

Welcome to A Tale of Star-Crossed Hearts, a swoony YA romantasy with a dash of steampunk.
