Happy start of September! Don’t know what it is, but I have always loved this month. Maybe it’s the fact that the weather starts sliding from really hot and humid to slightly more fall-like conditions. Maybe it’s the long stretches of days with stretches of golden afternoon sunshine.
I don’t know. All I know is that I love September.
Looking back over the years, I’ve noticed that September tends to be a fairly creative time for me. I tend to want to start new projects, or get a big burst of energy to finish current projects.
This year is no exception. I’m in the home stretch of the project I’ve been working on (August slowed me down quite a bit, what with getting back into the swing of school plus the baby cutting multiple teeth and learning to walk waaaaaayyyyy earlier than her siblings) and I’m really excited to finish it.
Plus, on the business front, I accomplished a couple of tasks that I have been putting off for months due mostly to the fact that I’ve just been too tired to devote any time, energy, and brain capacity to them. You know how that goes.
I read a historical mystery/romance series over the summer that I absolutely adored. If you enjoy stories set around World War I, I think you’ll really like them.
Check out The Shadows Over England series, by Roseanna M. White.
Back later with an exciting new announcement!
